LG Optimus G on AT&T finally getting Jelly Bean today

by: Brad WardApril 3, 2013

LG_Optimus-GThe LG Optimus G on AT&T received a mysterious update on Sunday, and now, it seems that the device is receiving the update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

AT&T has not confirmed the update just yet, but several users over on AT&T’s community forum are confirming the upgrade. The update is 336MB in size and will bring your device to Android 4.1.2, Build E97020j.

By now, everyone should be familiar with Jelly Bean. In case you have forgotten, the update brings awesome services like Google Now and Project Butter, which, performance wise, makes your device buttery smooth! In addition to Google Now and Project Butter, users will also get a revamped notification panel and offline voice typing.

If you’ve got an LG Optimus G, you may want to hit that check for updates button!
