The LG Optimus 4X HD is slowly but surely hitting stores in major markets around the world. While LG’s quad-core offering was prepped up for an end of June release in Europe, UK fans have been at the edge of their seats waiting for its retail debut. Well, the wait is over as Phones 4U has now listed the Optimus 4X HD on its website.

You can now pre-order LG’s flagship smartphone on Phones 4U. The black version will be shipped on August 27, while the white variant will only be sent your way on September 3.  We’re not sure why, but the price listed on the website for the two models varies wildly between free and up to £159.00 with a two-year contract.

Black LG Optimus 4X HD

  • Orange / £159 / £20.50 (24 months contract)
  • Orange / FREE / £26 (24 months contract)
  • Vodafone / £99 / £26 (24 months contract)
  • O2 / FREE / £27 (24 months contract)

White LG Optimus 4X HD

  • O2 / FREE / £26 (24 months contract)
  • Orange / £59  / £27 (24 months contract)
  • Orange / FREE / £31 (24 months contract)
  • Vodafone / £99 / £26 (18 months contract)

Yeah, free seems like a great deal for the LG Optimus 4X HD and its snappy quad-core 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor. Coupled with the phone’s 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, you should be good for a year. Sounds appealing enough?
