The LG Nexus 4 rumors and leaks keep coming in, and although we have seen already a first batch of LG Nexus images, we’re about to offer you access to a new set of pictures. This time around, we’re looking at much better, clearer photos. In fact we’re getting closer and closer to press photo quality.
The news comes from Belorussian tech site Onliner, which also shares more details about this LG E960 Nexus 4 handset. As you already know, the LG Nexus 4 is based on the LG Optimus G, and therefore it’ll sport a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 768 resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.1.2 (although the smartphone will run a new Android iteration at launch, Android 4.2).
The LG Nexus 4 is rumored to be unveiled by Google and LG by the end of the month, with the launch scheduled for October 29, at least in some markets, if yesterday’s rumors are to be believed.
What do you think of the LG Nexus 4 now that it’s available in clearer images? Does that battery cover pattern annoy you in any way?
Seems the curved display is gone.. I really liked that.
Yes, but maybe this is a demo… I hope so… I really like the curved screen (a nexus icon…)
The entire Galaxy Nexus design was better than this imo, and the curved factor is really what made it unique and separated it from other Android phones. That and Vanilla Android.
It’s a disappointment
If you think so, but still not as much as iFail 5
What about youFail 2?
People who think higher megapixels means a better camera is clearly wrong, often than not, higher megapixels make the camera worse unless there are software algorithms to help with the lighting.
Haha, youFail 2…
Where was I talking about camera, really, tell me was I talking about camera? -.-
its not a disappointment… 13mp and clearer than the s3… snapdragon s4… quad core 1.5 ghz
no SD slot, no removable battery?!
What a shit!
I wonder whether it’ll come with Android 4.2 …
Check out this page guys – its about 4.2 , pretty slick – http://esponential.wordpress.com/2012/10/04/top-5-features-we-want-in-android-4-2-key-lime-pie-or-whatever-itll-be-called/
I like the look of it, especially the battery cover. I can live without an SD slot as long as there is at least 16GB storage – if the 8GB rumours are true then forget it. If not then this could be my next phone. Still disappointed the Sony Xperia Nexus rumours have died though – that would of been great.
to basic..! im like more the samsung vertions..!
First Nexus with no Amoled!!! F that noise. I left the Nexus line for a LG once (Nexus One for a G2x) and it was a horrible experience. Granted, LG wasn’t a Nexus at the time but they don’t make very good hardware. Screen bleed is also common with LCD screens. Once you have an Amoled, everything else looks ugly. The Quad S4 would be amazing but not at the expense of a crappy screen. Also MP doesn’t matter, I agree. The Galaxy Nexus has a 5mp with an instant shutter, I don’t know if I could go back to a high MP camera with lag. All my pictures go right on to Facebook which crops and resizes anyway. Stupid high MP is useless for a phone. Stupid high resolution is also useless on a mobile device (looking at you Asus and Apple).
Pentile garbage. Welcome to the future.
Please check this link…
it shows taht it will have 16 GB,,,
I’ve been eagerly waiting to replace my Nexus S with another Google-specced phone, but with exactly the same maximum storage as my 2 year-old phone (from which I regularly have to delete stuff), a display that’s too big to type on one-handed (which I often do when holding things in the other hand), and no removable battery (I travel frequently, am often away from a power supply, and always carry spares), I’m going to be sticking with the Nexus S for the time being.
The design is quite nice although one could argue about the back of the device. 8 GB of storage has to be a bad joke. I understand that a lot of people don’t need more storage and that LTE is more popular in the USA, so the cloud is an option. But what about the rest of the world? No chance in a billion years that some people will be able to stream their music library so it should have at least 32 GB storage availbe in my opinion. Either that or it should have a micro SD slot, which apparently won’t happen to be.
No removable battery.. no SDcard slot… just 8gb?? Definitely Galaxy Note II is going to be my phone this fall!
the best thing that we are going away from samsung we have a lot of brands Sony, HTC, LG and that is the best thing
