I've had the phone for 10 months now. It's build quality is on a par with Samsung and HTC. I've had both. There is no light bleeding or misaligned parts. I don't understand some of the comments. It's as if these people never used the phone. I had an HTC 10, and this phone is light years better. I've not had any problems with it. Again, where are these people coming from?

Every review of an HTC product I've ever read laments the way they suck down batteries. That's because their radios [you know, the part that you're actually *buying* the cell phone for, so you're not tethered to a wall?] are poor. So poor, in fact, that they killed Palm Corp, which invented smart phones [they called them Treos back then] and guess who OEM'd the Treos for Palm? That's right HTC did. You could hold a Treo side by side with virtually any other dumb phone of similar vintage and where the Treo had one or two bars of signal, the competitor would have 3 or 4. They didn't suck down the batteries too bad only because the Treo battery was HUGE for its day, and the Palm side of the device had been designed from the ground up to be a power miser. They were amazingly capable considering the totally underwhelming capacity of the hardware they were built on, & I'd still be running my Treo ['cause I really don't need much in the way of a smartphone, I'm near a computer 90% of the time] if it had just possessed the capacity to pull in a signal more than 1/2 mile from a cell tower... ::)
