While the LG G3 has already been released in Korea and is selling swimmingly, it has yet to launch globally. For those in the United States at least, the handset is believed to be on its way sometime in late June or early July. If you’ve been impatiently waiting for a more specific launch timeframe, you’ll be happy to know we might know a bit more about Verizon’s plans for the device thanks to a leaked memo brought our way via @evleaks.
If a leaked memo (below) is correct, Verizon will begin pre-orders for the LG G3 on July 10 and will release the handset seven days later on the 17th. This is probably a little later than LG fans were hoping for, but better late that never.
It’s important to note that this information comes to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) via a tip, and so there’s no guarantees that the leaked chart is legit. Even if it is, these sort of things are often subject to change so don’t go circling your calendar just yet.
As for the pricing? Unfortunately the leaked info tells us nothing no this front, though it’s likely it will be priced around the same as other high-end flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S5. In other words, expect to pay around $199 on contract.
For those interested in getting the LG G3 on Verizon’s network, are you willing to wait until basically mid-July? Conversely, will you turn your attention to another device instead?
