LG is apparently ready to kick off a promo/contest that’s likely related to the upcoming LG G2, a next-gen flagship Android smartphone expected to be unveiled on August 7.
Called “To Me, You Are Perfect,” the campaign encourages users to send photo or video messages to their loved ones using “one or more of LG’s online channels.”
During a recent video teaser the company has posted on YouTube for its New York-based event, LG insisted on the same particular message: “To me, you are perfect. From G…” As you can see, a certain “G” signed that note.
The press release embedded below is dated July 15, so that mean the campaign must start only tomorrow, and the promotion will end on August 6.
Those interested in getting out their messages to loved ones can use the following LG channels to do so:
Selected clips will be posted on the company’s “multiple online channels,” and, most interestingly, they will be aired on outdoor billboards placed in Times Square (New York) and Piccadilly Circus (London).
The winner with the most likes and views will get a prize worth $5,000, while 40 random participants will get “LG G Series smartphones,” and 500 others will get LG Pocket Photo printers. We would assume the LG G2 will be included in that grand prize, but also awarded to 40 lucky contestants.

As part of the campaign, video clips will be selected and posted on LG’s multiple online channels and shown on the company’s outdoor billboards in New York City’s Times Square and London’s Piccadilly Circus.
