The design may not appeal to you, but there is no denying the performance of the LG G2. Easily one of the fastest phones on the planet, the G2 also has a gorgeous screen and tons of intuitive features. The camera and button placement may not appeal to some, but the performance should.

In a video on the Phone Arena YouTube channel, LG has run the G2 through a series of tests to showcase one of the cameras best features, the optical image stabilization. The OIS in any smartphone will mitigate the blurry images we sometimes snap from movement, meaning more crisp images and videos. The 13MP camera on the G2 is very respectable, and the OIS just adds excitement to an already great phone.

Check out the video below, and let us know your thoughts below. Does the LG G2 have your attention, or are you interested in something else?

Wow, that is great. However i would have liked to see it stacked up against the OIS of HTC One. Here, the “other OIS” was clearly a Lumia 1020, the strong green tint in low light suggests so. I am sure the One would have done much better than that, though not as well as G2.

    Great job LG!

    Some metal for design please.

they should try it with slower shakes. those shakes are unrealistic. our hands don’t shake that fast. the faster the shake, the better it is for the OIS setup because it will virtually be at a standstill. slower shakes similar to out handshakes with we are about to press the shutter button are what causes major blurs.

That’s what they all said when the Z was released and look at the sales number. RIP Sony, no offence sony needs more marketing…

I’m more than pleased with my G2. Really snappy and nice software features. Feels more solid than people give it credit.
