By Brad Ward May 8, 2013 0 21 0 3 LG has begun sending out “Save the Date” invites for a launch event set to take place on May 30 in Macau. The invitation didn’t specify what we’ll be seeing, but given the tagline “ImaGination Begins”, it’s highly possible that we’ll see something from the “G” series because of the emphasis of the letter in the tagline.Advertisement It’s nigh impossible to know what will be announced at the event until May 30, but there are a few possibilities, such as the widely rumored LG Optimus G2, though, that seems a tad unlikely since the Optimus G Pro just recently launched. While it’s unlikely, there’s also the possibility that the Optimus GK, which is set to launch in South Korea next month, could be coming to China. Although, LG told Techradar that the phone would be launching in Asia, before the U.S. and Europe get it. Looking at the photo, we can see a burst of color coming from the device. This could be a hint at better screen technology, which leads me to think that we could be seeing brighter colors and higher resolution on this device. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in Macau later this month. Be sure to keep your browsers locked on Android Authority come May 30, as we’ll be covering this mystery device thoroughly for you! 0 21 0 previous postGoogle Glass receives new XE5 update, brings Google+ notifications and morenext postIs a Google Now OS X implementation coming in the future?
