Motorola has launched a website that details all of the goodies found in the new GSM/UMTS version of the DROID that will be known as the MILESTONE. From what I can gather, it appears to…
The Ironman 2 commercials are now in full throttle, marketing the film for a 7 May 2010 release. So the end of the TV advert itself, viewers are encouraged to head over to the LG Ally website to find out more information about the phone.
The ironic thing is, when you visit this website for this Android based device, it still has a holding page telling users that the information that we so desperately want to read is going to be available, well, yesterday. Clearly, someone within the LG camp has not put the Ally website online.
What we can learn from this is that the Ally appears to be a different phone to the Aloha. Indeed, the TV adverts would suggest that the Ally is a different phone altogether. Speculation now runs rife with rumors that the Ally is a mid-range device offering a 600 MHz processor and will be with Verizon. Indeed, the Verizon aspect of these speculations seems pretty water-tight.
We hope that the person within LG who forgot to turn on the website does not lose their job over this. However, we really would like some official specifications for the Ally to put these rumors to bed.
