Level Money management app

Budgeting your finances can be a painstaking task at times, and I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t keep track of every penny I spend. Unfortunately the occasional take-away and frivolous purchase could leave you more than a few dollars short of that new Nexus 5 you’ve been saving up for, and that would be devastating. That’s where the Level money management app comes in, helping you budget day by day to keep your finances in check.

Unlike the manual spreadsheet budgeting option, Level automatically tracks your cash flow so you’ll always know exactly how much you’ve spent. This is done by linking your various bank accounts and credit cards to the app. Level is compatible will most major US banks, but sadly won’t work with accounts outside of the states.

Once you’ve linked up your accounts, Level will automatically calculate your income, finds your recurring expenses, and lets you specify a savings target, before calculating your monthly, weekly, and daily budgets. When it’s all setup you can also view your transactions to help you keep track of your bad habits. It’s all very seamless, and even comes with a handy widget to let you know how much money you have left to spend.

If you’re interested, you can download Level from the Google Play Store for a budget friendly price of $0. Let us know what you think.

Not available in my country. APK please

Even if we gave it to you, we wouldn’t support your country’s banks. Sorry! We’re working on non-US bank support in the future.

      • Luka

Why do you need banks. I want to put everything in manualy.

        • Arturo Raygoza

yes I want this offline and manual entry cause I don’t do banks and enjoy my privacy

Would be interesting to see this vs Mint.com in a side by side..

  • Hothfox

I was interested because it’s much simpler than Mint. Unfortunately, my bank isn’t supported (credit union in the USA).

    • kirindave

Level supports banks based on user requests (sadly, we can’t support all of them). And if you want to help us support your bank, please contact support offering to be a beta tester for your bank! That’s the best way to help Level grow its support list.

      • Hothfox

How do I contact support? I already submitted my bank’s name within the app.

        • kirindave

You can apply by mailing support@levelmoney.com with your bank name. If we can get it in with this round of testing, we will.

          • Hothfox

I tried that this afternoon. All I got is a generic response telling me I would be emailed when my bank was supported (not supported for testing, mind you). Then another email saying my case had been closed. Not very friendly, and did not accomplish what you mentioned it would.

          • kirindave

Well, please do note it was a launch day and we got a lot of those. As soon as we open up the next round of beta testing we’ll try and contact you if we can include your institution in the test.

This app is not available in my country. Shame, I really wanted to try this.
