Yesterday Verizon and Motorola finally put an end to the many rumors we have seen and heard about the Droid 4. Announcing it along with the Droid Razr Maxx, and the Droid Razr coming in…
As of the moment, there are only a small number of devices that are equipped with the official Ice Cream Sandwich build. But with several manufacturers starting to update their devices, this number will change by the second or third quarter of the year.
One of the devices that’s getting the update is the Motorola Droid Razr. In fact, a DroidRzr forum user under the name of ‘dragon974’ has shared a series of screenshots with the public. Many believe that these screenshots are that of the final ICS build on the Droid Razr. The usual features found on the ICS update are found on the screenshot; including a homepage with launcher, dialer, camera viewfinder, applications, lock-screen, Gmail, and many more.
And while dragon974 seems to have disappeared as quickly as he has come, the authenticity of these photos are left for verification by Motorola. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet given any statement on the matter. They have not even given possible release dates of the update. So until they do, stay tuned to Android Authority and we’ll keep you updated with further news about the Droid Razr getting ICS-ed.
