Just received a note from the people at Kogan. The company has confirmed that the Agora Android phone is being redesigned, which is great, and it is also offering a few bonuses to those of us that had pre-ordered, and never received, the original.
For starters, those that had pre-ordered the original will get an AU$30 credit towards the purchase of a redesigned Agora smartphone, when it becomes available. On top of that, those same would-be purchasers will get what Kogan is calling “preferrential allocation”, which means that they will be sent a phone from the very first batch of redesigned Agoras that Kogan receives.
It’s not the same as having the phone in my hand right now, but it is still a very nice gesture on Kogan’s part. Well played, Ruslan….
