Modern Renaissance man James Franco is no stranger of Samsung commercials. He starred in a hilarious episode of the Fact Checkers Unit web series along with the Galaxy Note. He also explained his multitasking ways in a promo for the Galaxy Note 10.1 from back in August.

Now, the American actor, filmmaker, writer, and all-around artist is peddling the Galaxy Camera, Samsung’s Android-powered digital camera that we reviewed here. The ad is quite entertaining although a bit long for my taste.

The premise is simple — James Franco is dealing with various nuisances of casual photography, from photo bombers to “eyes wide closed”. In the process, viewers get acquainted to the most important features of the Galaxy Camera, which is precisely what such an ad should do.
