In a story seemingly about the T-Mobile G1′s global sales figures, Australian site Smarthouse makes a statement that implies that HTC feels that the sales of its T-Mobile G1 are eating into its Windows Mobile device sales.
The HTC executive has also admitted that the new Google offering is hurting sales of Windows Mobile devices of which HTC are the biggest maker in the world.
Of course, since the story previously made no mention whatsoever about any HTC executive, named or otherwise, this closing statement of the story has no merit. Which executive said that? Was it HTC’s Chief Making Up Stuff Officer (CMUSO), I know he’s been busy making the rounds lately?
Source it, or don’t bother saying it.
No, we aren’t going to just take your word for it.
