Motorola Milestone sells out in a record 2.5 hours in the UK

Sales of the Motorola Milestone, the European version of the Verizon Wireless Motorola DROID, began on December 10th and the popular Android handset flew off the virtual shelves of online retailer eXpansys. The UK retailer confirmed that its entire inventory of the Motorola Milestone sold out within 2.5 hours, making the Milestone the fastest selling product ever in the retailer’s eleven year history. eXpansys also received one thousand pre-orders for the Milestone and has increased its order to Motorola twice. Good news if you missed this first round of sales, eXpansys expects to have another shipment in hand and ready to sell in time for Christmas.
