Motorola unveils MILESTONE – GSM version of the DROID

Motorola MILESTONE

Motorola has launched a website that details all of the goodies found in the new GSM/UMTS version of the DROID that will be known as the MILESTONE.

From what I can gather, it appears to be basically the same device with new network support and some relatively minor software changes.  I gather from what the spec sheet says that this phone will not offer Google Maps Navigation, since MOTONAV is included on the phone.  It does supposedly support multitouch zoom control in the browser, though, so that’s certainly going to appeal to a lot of people.

BTW, I posted the Motorola DROID review on MobileBurn.com this morning.

You can read all about the MILESTONE at the Motorola website.
