Verizon seems serious about the Motorola DROID, sends out R2D2 toys to the media
As if the website and TV commercials weren’t enough indication that Verizon is going to make a big push with the Motorola DROID, I just received a remote control Star Wars R2D2 toy from the UPS guy. Verizon packaged the toy with some batteries, some bubble wrap, and a card that says “11.09 www.droiddoes.com” – and nothing else in the box.
Pretty funny.
You’ll forgive me if I don’t post a review of this particular DROID, but rest assured that I will certainly be playing with it later today… after I finish with the Samsung Moment that I picked up this morning.
