Android 1.6 (Donut) slowly filtering out to T-Mobile G1 and myTouch 3G users
According to one of TmoNews’ sources, we should already be seeing select users of the T-Mobile G1 and myTouch 3G getting OS update notifications for the Donut based Android 1.6 build.
If you have gotten the update, let us know in the comments below!
Update: It’s official. I just got word from T-Mobile’s PR firm.
“The rollout of Android 1.6 (Donut) to T-Mobile’s G1 and myTouch 3G customers is now underway. The over-the-air update will be delivered to all G1 and myTouch customers in the coming days.”
I got the update just before midnight last night, so far so good.

I don’t have the update, but that’s not surprising… I also don’t have 3G service and it was supposed to be here by Sept at the latest. T-Mobile isn’t the most reliable in the promise department in my experience.
Ok, so do y’all know if they’re gonna be pushing OTA updates for Donut 1.6 for Sprint HTC Hero users here in central Texas?
Got the 1.6 (Donut) update this past weekend. Some nice improvements; however, I’ve been unable to upload images to Picasa since the update. On the phone with T-Mobile support right now, but it seems like I’m not getting anywhere.
I got it Sunday morning it was waiting for me, I like it so far!
Got it yesterday…(feeling retarded) what is new/fixed/does it do?
Since I upgraded from Cupcake v1.5 to Donut 1.6 I am now unable to use the included software from Google that is preinstalled.
Anyone else unable to upload a YouTube video, or upload a picture with Picasa using the preinstalled software that worked fine with Cupcake v1.5?
