T-Mobile USA: No plans to offer HTC Hero

T-Mobile logoAt its myTouch 3G press event in New York, T-Mobile USA executives stated that the company had no plans to offer the HTC Hero that its European counterparts will offer.  That was a bit more direct of a statement than is typical, and is also a bit disheartening.

The myTouch 3G is based on HTC’s Magic, which has been available in non-U.S. markets for months.

  3. D’oh! I was hoping that T-Mobile would get that phone. Although I think the rumor on the street is that Sprint or AT&T might have dibs on it. If they can’t get the HTC Hero, the Samsung Android phone might be there best bet.
