Another nice piece of rumorific news today is that what a Russian website is calling the Motorola Sholes, a new high-end Android powered handset that appears to be headed for Verizon.
According to the site, the Sholes features a large 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a whopping 480 x 854 pixel resolution. They also claim it has [...]
We’ve heard rumblings of this for a long time, but this is the first time I’ve seen an actual piece of photographic proof, weak as it might be in these Photoshop days.
This comes from an XDA-Developers forum member that has been making the same October 11 claim for Sprint and the Hero for some time.

It appears that the rumored Motorola Morrison Android-powered smartphone for T-Mobile has finally passed through the FCC. We’re pretty certain that this is the T-Mobile device since it supports T-Mobile’s 3G network, which runs on the AWS frequency band pair (1700MHz and 2100MHz).
The guys at CellPhoneSignal have ripped through the FCC documents and pulled out [...]
I posted the Russell’s full written HTC Hero review this morning on MobileBurn.com. It’s about 3,000 words of Android goodness, and includes the 3 part video review and the unboxing video that he shot for us earlier.
Here’s Russell’s conclusion from the review:
The HTC Hero is a great handset that I thoroughly enjoyed using. Its older [...]
The T-Mobile G2 Touch (aka the HTC Hero) is now available online to T-Mobile UK customers. The price of the phone ranges from £195.73 on a £15/mo contract to free on a £30/mo contract.
T-Mobile UK has said that the Android-powered smartphone will start appearing in retail stores over the course of the next couple of [...]
As promised, here’s the 3 part HD video review of the HTC Hero / T-Mobile G2 Touch for Europe. Russell might have gone a bit overboard here, giving us over 30 minutes of footage, but there was just so much HTC Sense goodness in the Hero that he just couldn’t help himself.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy [...]
Well, I’ve finished the T-Mobile myTouch 3G review on MobileBurn.com. It’s a good solid device that could use a bit more battery and a nice camera, but is otherwise a standup piece of hardware.
It’s kinda pretty, too…
In any case, I’ve just finished editing and rendering the 3 massive videos for Russell’s HTC Hero review. Those [...]
Today Motorola officially unveiled its MOTODEV Android developer support program. The program will provide developers with early access to resources needed to create Android based applications for Motorola’s upcoming Android based handsets, which it has promised will arrive by the end of this year.
One of the tools Motorola is releasing is the MOTODEV Studio [...]
The text of the review still hasn’t been written yet, but here is my 3 part HD video look at T-Mobile USA’s new myTouch 3G, its version of the HTC Magic. Parts two and three after the jump.
I received my myTouch 3G the other day from T-Mobile and have decided to post a few high quality photos of it before I get to a longer post with the nitty gritty of everything. I’ve been pretty busy over at MobileBurn.com, so it’s hard to find the time I need to really sit down [...]
