It seems like more and more tablet manufacturers are competing against each other in the field of inexpensive tablets. With other tablets such as the ViewPad E70 and the DataWind Aakash, companies have been able to turn the tablet into a tool anyone can use. IdolPad is the newest member to join this party, giving truth to their slogan ‘Tablets for Everyone.’
Idolian has recently joined the Android tablet by announcing the new IdolPad, a 7 inch tablet for less than $100. The tablet runs on Android 2.3 OS, 1GHz CPU processor, and Cortex A8 Chipset. It has 512MB memory, 360 G-Sensor, HDMI output, a front facing camera, and a multi touch resistive screen. The IdolPad has Wi-Fi connectivity and has a battery life of 4-5 hours. What’s more is that the IdolPad can be converted into a mini laptop once the keyboard case is attached to it.
‘IdolPad is the cheapest tablet PC that works with real Android OS. There are many customers that had bad experiences with cheap tablet pc in the past but with IdolPad they will get true Android OS experiences. We expect IdolPad to be hot item for parents buying tablets for their kids. Many parents who owns Apple iPad wants to get their kids off of their iPad. IdolPad will be perfect tablet PC for them.’ says Simon Lee, Idolian Director of Sales.
The IdolPad is currently available at $99.99 from Idolian.com, where a ‘free UPS shipping both ways’ is also available for their customers. It will soon be sold on major online retailers throughout the US and South Korea.

$99 IdolPad to consumers..thats cool….
$99 IdolPad to consumers would be cool if these tablets had enough engineering to allow people to use them. and if the materials were durable enough to be used by the consumer not to be looked at like a museum piece that will break. and finally if they worked as advertised with Netflix, Angry Birds and other popular Google play apps
JUNK, JUNK, JUNK from technical down to customer service.
