Why is it that when Microsoft runs after other companies for patent issues, it does not surprise us at all? Microsoft recently went after Huawei demanding royalty payments for every Android handset sold by the…
In a promotional Facebook contest, Huawei is giving away a round-trip airline ticket for two to one lucky winner with a two-night stay for two at a luxury hotel. Along with this roundtrip airfare, Huawei also gives the winner a chance to have dinner for two at one of Tokyo’s best restaurants, two Huawei Honor smartphones, and pocket money of US$1,000.
The Huawei Facebook contest is entitled “Sharing with Honor Tokyo Giveaway.” The contest and its promotional video depicts an emerging pop culture in the cyberworld today.
Huawei released an amusing and comical promotional video which depicts the oversharer – a person who shares things too much – and makes one ask what it might be like if people shared their thoughts and stuff in real life like they do online.
It leaves you wondering how chaotic it would be to share every single thought and stuff you currently have.
The mechanics of the contest are plain and simple. You just need to watch the Huawei promotional video, which you can find on YouTube, and visit Huawei’s Facebook page.
After liking the Facebook page, you will need to type in your first and last name and a valid email address. This entitles you to one entry. Inviting friends to join the Share with Honor Tokyo Giveaway gives you another entry for the contest. Three additional entries will be given to you if the friend you invited joins the contest.
The contest will end on December 9, 2011 at 5:00PM GMT. The winner will be chosen randomly and will be notified by December 12, 2011 via email.
