CNMO While the Huawei Ascend P1 is only about to touch down in the US, a variant of the fashionably thin Android phone is expected to land soon in the manufacturer’s home country, China. Dubbed…
Back when the Huawei Ascend D2 was first unveiled, we learned that it will be released first in China before it gets outed in any other countries. We learned about its numerous high-end features, too. The only thing that was missing from that original announcement was the information on pricing, and that has kept people guessing and guessing. Until now.
Over in China, the Huawei Ascend D2′s price has already been revealed. Apparently, it will become available through two of China's biggest carriers, and these are China Unicom and China Telecom. The former is set to offer Huawei's latest flagship smartphone for 3,780 Yuan (about $607) while the latter has chosen to go with a 3,990 Yuan (about $641) price tag.
It may be more than a tad pricey, but then again, there are those who might say that Huawei drives a hard bargain with the Ascend D2. It does boast a number of top-notch features and is one of the most interesting Android devices announced so far this year, after all.
