Huawei Ascend D2

Earlier today we reported on the Huawei Ascend D2 and the first official images associated with it. Now it seems that a press photo of the Ascend D2 has been leaked as well.

With the phone now confirmed for CES 2013, it is only a matter of time before we get to take a much closer and more detailed look at the upcoming handset. This much is clear, this premium device certainly seems like a pretty big departure from Huawei’s typical budget-oriented offerings.

What kind of specs will the phone have? The Ascend D2 is said to feature a Huawei-made multi-core 1.5GHz processor, a 13MP camera, a front-facing camera and a 3,000mAh battery. As for the display, it will be a 1080p 5-inch screen similar to what is found in the HTC Droid DNA.

What do you think, would you consider the Huawei Ascend D2 if it is made available locally to you when it officially launches?
