It’s been a few months since HTC has announced or launched a new device in the Android world, heck we haven’t even seen any rumors or leaked pictures of any new devices recently. So you know HTC is working on something big. A few months ago we heard about the HTC Ville, a quad-core Android phone, featuring a 4.3-inch qHD display and a 8MP camera. Of course it’s rumored to be running on the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich.
With so many awesome phones being announced at CES this past week, it’s going to take a really big phone to help HTC recover from not announcing a single thing at CES this year. But if the HTC Ville can live up to the hype, I think it can do that and much more. Now we are hearing that it could be launching on T-Mobile. While T-Mobile has played a big part in HTC’s success in Android, it looks like HTC is hoping to continue that trend. A quad-core phone has got to be running fast, since my 1.2GHz dual-core phone runs so fast even with sense, but faster without sense. Just imagine how fast a quad-core HTC phone would run?
We should start hearing more from HTC or more rumors about future HTC products in the next few weeks, since Mobile World Congress is just around the corner in late February. What’s your opinion so far of the HTC Ville? Is the screen to small? Is the design to different looking compared to HTC’s other devices? Let us know what you think of the HTC Ville in the comments.

I have read elsewhere that the ville is dual core. I’ve got my fingers crossed for quad as this will likely be my next phone on T-Mobile. I’m looking forward to a phone from HTC that doesn’t have physical buttons and the associated light bleed into the screen.
I like sense. I am currently using cyanogen after having froyo on another htc device and actually miss the widgets.
