Not much has been known, told, or retold about the HTC Vigor, but if we are going to swallow hook, line, and sinker a recent listing on the NenaMark1 benchmark database, the HTC Vigor may just have been reinvigorated.

Purportedly the HTC Vigor, the device listed as model ADR6425LVW on NenaMark shows that it has Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a 1.5-GHz Qualcomm processor, an Adreno 220 graphics processing unit, and a display resolution of 1280×720. The benchmark result also seems to have been performed on Verizon Wireless connection, which led some of us to believe the HTC device is intended for Verizon.

The HTC Vigor name has been floating around since 2009 when it was first spotted in trademark applications filed by HTC, along with the names Tattoo and Imagio. Since that time, we have not heard a chirp about the HTC Vigor until Pocketnow showed us last week a test photo allegedly taken from the HTC Vigor’s 6-megapixel camera.

The listing from NenaMark and Pocketnow’s test photo are all we currently have regarding the HTC Vigor. We are not saying the information is true or reliable. But, we can certainly say that if those leaks have any truth in them, the HTC Vigor is going to be one heck-of-a-powerful smartphone. But then again, it could be a tablet. Who knows? If it turns out to be a smartphone, then HTC just might be the first to produce an Android phone with 720p display.

Do you want an HTC smartphone carrying these rumored specs?
