The folks over at T-Mobile have put up a website that includes a G1 emulator that you can play with to get a feel for the device and its Android operating system. Just make sure…
Hot on the heels of the leaked information regarding the Samsung “Houdini”, TMOToday bring forth further speculation about the possibility of an HTC developed netbook sporting Android, due for release on T-Mobile by the end of the year. The general sound of things suggests that the netbook will offer on-board 3G connectivity to make use of T-Mobile’s high-speed mobile internet network. Nothing concrete can be said about this info, and it is quite possible that these are just more netbook rumours gone wild. However, the leaked document regarding the Samsung “Houdini” from TMOToday looked pretty decent, and this supposedly comes from the same tipster. If anyone has more information on this, then please let us know in the comments below or via the tip line.
In other netbook news, Androidguys stumbled upon a video of a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Mini netbook running Android over at vimeo. Despite the fact that the netbook has only an 8.9’’ WSVGA Display, the resolution is still 1024 x 600 and just like other netbooks we’ve seen, Android still looks a little spaced out for our tastes. However, we agree that this is purely cosmetic. A little tweaking with the UI and things could be right-as-rain. Video after the jump.
