HTC Rezound (Vigor) Stops by the FCC, Wireless Charging is a Go

The HTC Rezound, aka HTC Vigor, has stopped by the FCC before, but they just revisited our friends at the FCC again, adding a really awesome new feature: wireless charging! Couldn’t we all use this feature? According to the FCC, the differences from the HTC Rezound’s first visit to the FCC in September are:

the device has added an all new “wireless charging back cover.” The same wireless inductive charging found on those fancy Sonicare toothbrushes.

The remainder of 2011 will be loaded with great new Android devices. Verizon has said they will be announcing or releasing a new Android device every week for the rest of 2011. Now that is a lot of new Android devices right? Verizon already has the Motorola Droid RAZR and the Galaxy Nexus becoming available on the same day, November 10th. What else could Big Red and the other major US carriers have up their sleeve?

Are you looking to get the HTC Rezound? How does it stack up next to the Droid RAZR or Galaxy Nexus?

ok if Verizon said it’s releasing a new Android phone every week for the rest of the year and we already know of 3, what are the chances we get the RAZR on the 10th, the Nexus on the 17th and the Rezound on the 24th? Maybe not in that particular order but just going back to that leaked release document paired with this, it had the 10th as the earliest date in a long window and VZW has been known to push dates. Just playing devils advocate here cause I really want the Nexus on the 10th (actually now really) but I’m preparing to be disappointed somehow by VZW.
