HTC Passion

Taiwanese based website DigiTimes’ has a mixed reputation with regards to news quality and integrity. However, of late they have been getting more right than they have wrong. According to their reports, we can expect to see a Android 2.0 version of the WinMo HTC HD2, or a remarkably similar device, going by the name HTC Passion.

Aside from packing the latest version of Android, DigiTimes’ allege that this device will offer a 1GHz Snapdragon chipset with 3.5-inch multitouch OLED. They also assert that the device will land in early 2010. I’m not really sure how this fits in with the HTC Road Map that has recently leaked via XDA, so we’re not going to indulge the rumour mill any further. Instead, we’ll leave the rest up to time to prove DigiTime’ right or wrong. We’ll keep you guys informed.
