Telus announced the upcoming availability of the HTC One X+ smartphone back in early-October. At that time they kept the pricing a secret and offered nothing more than that the handset was coming “this fall.” And well, while we have yet to get anything specific in terms of a release date, we have recently gotten a hint that the release will be happening soon.
The hint is dummy units. Yup, dummy units, because there is no better sign that a release is imminent than having smartphone dummy units make an appearance in stores. Of course, officially speaking, Telus still has the One X+ listed as “coming soon.”
Otherwise, just as a recap, the HTC One X+ is similar to the One X, just with a bump in the specs. The One X+ will have a 2100 mAh battery, 1.6 megapixel front-facing camera, quad-core 1.7GHz processor and 64GB of internal storage. The handset does not have any microSD card slot though. You can also expect a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, LTE connectivity and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Does anybody have a clue when this will be release in the UK? I’m with EE (T-Mobile) and my contract ends mid December, really hoping to upgrade to this phone.
The Telus one, like the AT&T version, won’t have the red accents instead it is white as with the original One X but it now has a white Beats logo on the back instead of writing “Beats Audio”
