HTC One V officially confirmed as coming to US Cellular and 27 regional carriers

Less than 24 hours after reporting on Virgin Mobile, the first US carrier to sell HTC’s One V, the entry-level ICS-powered smartphone has been officially confirmed as hitting other networks across the States.

According to an HTC press release issued earlier today, the One V should already be up for sale at US Cellular, but also on twenty-seven regional carriers which are members of something called ACG (Associated Carriers Group).

As far as we can tell, US Cellular’s website still doesn’t mention anything about the One V’s availability, but it’s safe to assume that the handheld will pop up online in a matter of hours or in a day or two, at the latest. Also, if you’re just dying to see what USC will be charging for the more modest member of the HTC One trio, you could visit one of the network’s retail stores and see if the phone is up for grabs.

If you missed yesterday’s story about the One V starting selling over at Virgin Mobile, we should remind you that the phone is available for just $199.99 on prepaid plans with no contract. US Cellular will most likely be charging even less for the 3.7-incher, but then again you’ll probably be asked to sign a two-year carrier agreement.

As for the regional carriers in the Associated Carriers Group, these will themselves probably follow USC’s suite and put the One V up for sale in the coming hours. You can find a full list of all the 27 members of the association at this link here, where you’ll also get directions to the carriers’ websites, if any one of those names rings a bell, or just for comparison’s sake.

MetroPCS, another smaller carrier (compared to Verizon or AT&T, not with US Cellular or Virgin) in the US who was rumored to sell the One V this summer is unfortunately not on HTC’s list from earlier today. However, it’s not impossible for MetroPCS, the sixth largest telecommunications provider in America these days, to hold an exclusive unveiling event of the phone in the near future.

Are you planning on getting the HTC One V from any of the carriers officially announced as selling the phone? Would somebody like MetroPCS make you change your mind?
