HTC is leaving no stone unturned with the promotion of its One series. With three phones in the lineup, the HTC One X, One S, and the One V, HTC is hoping to get a head start on the competition (ok, on the Samsung Galaxy S3) with a worldwide release slated for next week.
As part of its promotional campaign, HTC released a brand new ad, which visibly attempts to create a personal connection between potential buyers and HTC and its products. In the ad, HTC claims to have “listened” to the users, to create a lineup of devices that will suit everybody’s needs, because “no one person is exactly the same as everyone else.” On a side note, we recently argued that HTC is, in fact, listening to users, and the results are impressive.
Check out the ad for yourself here:
The commercial doesn’t show off the phones much, but is more of an attempt at increasing brand recognition of the One series. HTC has certainly taken the One branding and run with it, with even the device unboxing revealing a screen protector with the message “I’m the one you’ve been waiting for.” I would have definitely liked to see the phone hardware and software being put through its paces in ad, at the least using the phone to show the Youtube and Facebook sequences, instead of a PC browser.
Nevertheless, it’s a great attempt at getting HTC’s new message out there – that we, the customers, are the biggest asset.
What do you think of the ad? Is HTC finally heading in the right direction with its products and advertising? Will an HTC One phone be your first choice?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note, yet find my HTC HD2 running Windows 6.5 mobile still superior in ease of use, performance on the same data (large) and generally much more stable, so I am hoping the HTC One has a more stable version of Android than the Galaxy (which crashes regularly on the OS delivered with the phone). Then I’ll have the best of both worlds.
HTC Sucks ! After reading about them taking legal action against a blog for unboxing the htc 1 i will never buy from them again. Not to mention, the sorry azz battery (not removable) they have in the one.
HTC was my second SP after 5 failure with BB. If Samsung doesn’t release the S3 soon, I will have to choose the HTC One.
cool ad even tho they never really show the phone in action ever in the entire commercial. But still the HTC one is everyone’s second option. Still waiting for gs3 specs.
But the HTC one is a very good looking phone. I saw the unboxing yesterday on this site and that made me want to buy that phone more than this commercial did. So instead of pressing charges maybe they should thank the bloggers.
i already have the amaze. if i waited, sure…..i prolly might get the htc one
