Telus has announced that the HTC One is now available for pre-order for as little as $149.99 on a new three-year pact with the mobile operator.
The Canadian carrier will also sell the device for $650 outright for those that aren’t willing to get into the gruesome three-year contract. Telus‘ HTC One will be available on April 19, and online orders will begin shipping the day before.
HTC’s new flagship supports a Super LCD 3 Full HD 1980 x 1080 4.7-inch display with 468ppi. The devices touts a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 2300 mAh battery, a rear-facing camera with 4 Ultrapixels and a front-facing 2.1MP shooter with 1080p video recording.
HTC’s One will come in 32GB and 64GB models, the latter of which is currently exclusive to AT&T in the U.S. On the software side of things, the device is running Sense 5 and BlinkFeed atop of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. There has been no official announcement as to when the One will get Android 4.2 yet.
The Taiwanese-based company announced its new flagship device on Feb 19. at press events in London and New York, simultaneously. Since then, the HTC One has been plagued with supply shortages, which has resulted in multiple availability delays.
