Recently @evleaks brought us our first look at HTC’s upcoming mini version of its flagship HTC One M8, which reportedly will debut under the somewhat bizarre name HTC One Mini 2. It seems that HTC just can’t keep its devices a secret, as the One Mini 2 is back in the news once again, this time in an image that gives us the first look at the device in the wild.
As you can see, the handset has aluminum body and is accompanied by yellow accents. It’s possible that HTC will also offer other accent choices to further set the One Mini 2’s design apart from the M8, but that’s just speculation on our part. Although the image above doesn’t show off the front of the handset, Phone Arena’s tipster claims the front includes software keys just like the standard HTC One M8.
While that’s all that we can learn from the leaked image, previous reports suggest the handset will offer a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, a 13MP camera and Sense 6.0. As you can tell, the One Mini 2 isn’t nearly as impressive as its bigger brother but it will more than likely be priced much more aggressively.
