HTC reportedly preparing red, blue and pink variants of the One M8
The HTC One M8 has only been around since late March but that’s not stopping rumors suggesting that the company is getting ready to expand the device’s color palette a bit. First there were reports of a red variant that is believed to be an exclusive for Verizon in the United States, and now @evleaks claims pink and blue versions are also in the works.
The new ‘report’ doesn’t give any details as to what carriers the pink and blue variants might show up at, though last year’s blue HTC One M7 was exclusive to Best Buy, so perhaps we could see a repeat situation? Of course, that’s really just speculation on our part. For those keeping score, the arrival of red, blue and pink will bring the M8’s total color choices up to six, with the other three being: gunmetal grey, glacial silver, and amber gold.
Regardless of what color you pick the device up in, expect the same hardware on the inside. The M8 is powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2GB Ram, there’s also an UltraPixel camera and DUO configuration, 16/32GB storage options, a 2600 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

For now we’d take this rumor with a grain of salt, though it certainly doesn’t sound too far-fetched. So how about it, interested in the idea of getting the HTC One M8 in blue or red? Or perhaps pink is your thing?
