Just last month, HTC’s president of global sales Jason Mackenzie posted a tweet confirming that the HTC One and Droid DNA would see Android 4.3 by the end of September. Now we have a bit more information about the U.S. and international rollout of Android 4.3 for the HTC One.

According to a new tweet from @LlabTooFer,  the HTC One update will in fact be rolling out to the U.S. soon. Apparently there will be ‘two waves’ to the Android 4.3 update, with the first wave bringing Android 4.3 with Sense 5 over to the the United States.

In a second tweet, @LlabTooFer says that Sense 5.5 is coming to the HTC One, One Mini and Butterfly S at some point after the release of the HTC T6 – aka the One Max.

In other words, those in the U.S. will get Android 4.3 first with Sense 5, and a bit later these users will see an upgrade to Sense 5.5.

For those in the international market, it looks like your HTC One will go straight to Sense 5.5 when it gets upgraded to Android 4.3, apparently sometime in late-October or even November.

How believable is this rumor? We’ve already heard numerous reports that the One Max will ship with Sense 5.5, and @LlabTooFer is known for being rather credible when it comes to HTC-related news. That said, HTC has yet to confirm anything, so speculation is still advised.

As always, we will keep our readers updated as we learn more about the HTC One Android 4.3 upgrade and the upcoming version of Sense.
