Chinese site IT168.com has posted a series of live photos of the new HTC Sapphire based smartphone that is heading to China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile network. The interesting part of the device is…
TmoNews is reporting that the HTC Magic will be sold by T-Mobile USA as the MyTouch 3G, not as the G2. The new MyTouch 3G name supposedly has shown up on an internal T-Mobile USA inventory system, which is what the image to the right is supposedly of.
There’s nothing official on any of this, though, and no indication from this photo that the MyTouch 3G is even an Android based device, so we’re going to take a wait and see attitude with this one until something a little more solid comes along.
If true, though, we’ll be seeing this thing in black, white, and merlot colors.
