Facebook announced the HTC First and its custom Android launcher at its event on April 4, and now the First is available as an exclusive on AT&T.
The HTC First costs $99 on a new two-year contract with the mobile operator. On the other hand, it costs $450 to buy it outright. The smartphone supports a 4.3-inch 720p display, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera, a 1.6MP front facing camera, 16GB of onboard storage and a 2200 mAh battery.
It comes in four different colors as well, including black, red, white and pale blue. Despite HTC’s Sense being a standard for the company’s devices, if users don’t like Facebook Home, it can easily be turned off to bring back stock Android.
If you’re interested in Facebook Home but not the HTC First, be sure to keep an eye on out, as the social network will be launching Facebook Home later today.

Looks good. Can’t wait!
It’s on eBay currently for $350
i was going to try it until i saw the reviews. Pretty bad start which means the HTC first isn’t much of a difference than the launcher. Its’s just in your face all the time. Having the app is good enough. Not sure why you need a phone for only one social network that collects your data even easier than ever.
