According to a rumor out of BerryScoop, the Verizon Wireless DROID ERIS is slated to be placed on the dreaded end of life list starting April 1st. The source notes that the HTC Incredible is slated to launch in the same time frame and may be the chosen replacement for the semi-successful ERIS. Though it is possible that the ERIS could be replaced a mere five months after launch, it is worth noting that the date for this transition is April 1st. Is this rumor merely a cruel early April Fools joke or is the ERIS indeed on its way out?
