HTC Droid DNA

Last week a press shot for the so-called HTC Droid DNA surfaced, suggesting an early December launch for the rumored smartphone. If that wasn't enough proof that the HTC J Butterfly was coming to the United States as a Verizon exclusive, don't worry, we have more. A Verizon promotional image has now been leaked clearly calling the 5-inch HTC phablet by the name Droid DNA.

The image was first leaked to Talk Android, along with word that the HTC phablet will actually arrive in mid-December for $199 on contract, or $599 without a commitment. As for the image, it confirms specs that we already knew such as a 5-inch HD 1080p display, an 8MP rear cam, 2MP front cam, Beats Audio and Sense. More than likely the phone will also feature a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM, like the HTC J Butterfly.

With a supposed mid-December release and Verizon store employees already getting a glimpse of HTC Droid DNA promotional materials, you can pretty much bet that an official Verizon announcement will be here any day now. Any Verizon costumers planning on picking this one up?
