The HTC Desire is an Android-based smartphone that offers a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, GPS, and runs a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Desire landed overseas first and U.S. Cellular (a CDMA carrier) announced that it would carry the smartphone this summer, but it has not been announced for any other U.S. carriers to date. However, FCC documents suggest that a version of the device with support for AT&T’s 3G network could be on the way.
