HTC Click renames as Tattoo and get official

HTC Tattoo aka Click

HTC Tattoo aka Click

News on the HTC Click has not exactly been slow. We already know that HTC were planning on releasing the Click into the Chinese market and that sales of the Click are expected to increase HTC’s revenue by a whopping 11%. In fact, we had even seen the Click star in its very own YouTube video. Now, after all of this, HTC have finally made the thing official and thrown a few high-resolution renders our way to boot (Gallery after the jump).

First, the Click has been renamed Tattoo, probably because the users of this device can personalize the cover of their phone. This is slightly gimmicky if you ask us, but it does not detract from the fact that the Tattoo/Click will indeed run Sense UI. Second, with the attractive price tag that the Tattoo/Click is expected to have, HTC really do mean it when they say that the “HTC Tattoo™ Brings Android To All”. Here is what HTC had to say for themselves;

“Everyone wants their own phone to feel like it was specifically made for them. The Tattoo, with HTC Sense represents an easy way to shape your own distinct mobile experience and really make it your own,” said Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer, HTC Corporation. “The HTC Tattoo ensures that you can create the most engaging and appropriate mobile experience through simple yet powerful personalization.”

    Looks like a nice little phone. With the Sense UI, HTC have a solid base to build future Android phones on, and with the competition already playing catch up, HTC will likely cement their position as the leaders of the Android mobile market.
    Sure, the Samsung i7500 looks like it’ll have some great features, but will they be enough to give it an edge over a device running Sense? Sense and Android are a perfect match.

    Very true, the “Rachael” UI looks like it could potentially give Sense a run for it’s money.
