HTC Aria via Android Guys

The Aria was first thought to be a slide-out QWERTY keyboard device; not so much. According to Android Guys, the Aria is actually going to be a bog standard candy bar phone, presumably running Android. The HTC Aria is set for AT&T and according to their tipster, will offer Android 2.1 along with HTC’s Sense UI. Despite the fact that it also packs a 5MP camera, it is alleged to be the ‘smallest Android device yet’.

We don’t really have any idea on the screensize, but guesses around the blog-o-sphere are honing in on 2.8-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) like the Tatoo. From inspecting the handful of pictures available to us, it would appear as though there is a microUSB port and a 3.5mm jack. In short, no one has any firm evidence that this is the Aria, but speculation will run its course. Check out the original photo gallery here.
