HTC Announces the HTC Rezound – Complete Coverage
Today is the big day! Well, another big day for Android at least. We told you about a week ago that there were invites sent out about HTC holding an event in New York City today at around 3pm Eastern time.
Jason McKenzie started the event, first by saying “Smartphones went from niche to mainstream and HTC wants to give you the perfect mobile experience.” I think we can all agree that this is true; I have also watched the Android ecosystem go from about three different manufacturers to many in the last two to three years.
The CEO of HTC, Peter Chou also stated that the Smartphone revolution is sweeping the world. Chou went on to mention thatLTE is changing the smartphone world by improving connectivity speeds and btybringing more coverage around the world. “HTC is the Number 1 in US Market Share for Q3 2011” says Chou.
For many of us, our smartphone has become our #1 most used device, according to Peter Chou. I must say I completely agree with you, Mr. Chou. I love my HTC smartphone and always have.
Chou went on to explain the components of what makes a great phone, including power and style living in harmony. But, to him, the most important part is the network the phone runs on. “Verizon has always been a great partner for us” said Chou.
Now the moment we have all been waiting for, the official HTC Rezound announcement.
Dr. Dre was at the HTC announcement too, for all you nostalgic types.
