root accessFor those of you who enjoyed typing “reboot” to restart your G1 (and showed it to all of your friends), and found yourself unable to do so after receiving the RC30 update, the folks at XDA Developers have found a way to regain this functionality.

The relatively simple steps involve several reboots, reflashing the G1 to an earlier firmware version, typing in telnetd, and downloading the Android Telnet client onto your G1.  The instructions and RC27/RC29 version updates can be found here.

Why don’t you use your industry connections to STRONGLY suggest that Samsung make the Galaxy S4 with a dual sim option variant? I would love to have this feature along with HD Voice; both are game changer features, and though not for everyone would, I would think, for those who can use them provide a level of differentiation for business people especially that no other manufacturer can currently match – certainly not the iPhone.

Dual sim takes space and isn’t a consumer magnet, many people associate the feature with cheap budget phones :(
