HBO Go now runs on Nexus 7 and other Jelly Bean devices

The HBO Go is the perfect app for those who need to have access to the network’s original series wherever they are. We last reported about the tablet support that HBO has added for the Android app back in July, but it still didn’t support devices running Jelly Bean, Nexus 7 included. Owners of the tablet now have a reason to be cheerful about.

The latest version of HBO Go, which can be downloaded on Google Play, finally works on Jelly Bean devices. So yes, you can now watch all your favorite HBO series on the Nexus 7.

As expected, the update also includes “performance enhancements and bug fixes”. But what bugs are they talking about? If only developers can be more specific when they list such things on the change log, but that’s probably beside the point.

Enjoy running HBO GO on the Nexus 7 or any other phones and tablets that you have that sport Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  Be sure to let us know how well the app runs on your device.
