thanksgiving 2013

On this wonderful day of thanks, we stop back, reflect, and give thanks.

And what are we thankful for at Android Authority? We are thankful for you, our dear readers, visitors and fans.

We’re not perfect, but we certainly try our best at Android Authority. We’re a team of passionate Android lovers and enthusiasts, and we’re devoted to providing you the best Android coverage in the world.

Basically, without all of your support, we wouldn’t exist. There’s a lot of great content out there, and every day, more than 400,000 people honor Android Authority with their time by reading our content, or by watching the videos we create for all of you. We try and show our appreciation by holding weekly giveaways (international, of course), and by working hard to create some of the best editorials, news coverage, app reviews, videos and more!

So, in two words, thank you. We encourage you, in turn, to reflect on what you are thankful for, too. Whether your in the US or not, today is a day of celebration for all the things you’re thankful for.

Let us know how we’re doing, and what your grateful for. We will continue to serve you in new and exciting ways. We’ve got a ton of great stuff lined up here at Android Authority, and we’re just getting started!

From all your friends at Android Authority: Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones, wherever you are!

Despite a few typos and errors here and there, your website is still much better than what other websites will ever achieve. Have a great day and enjoy Thanksgiving!

Android Authority is one of the 3 tech news related sites I read on my rss reader (feedly rocks!) and AA is by far my favorite one of the three. I love reading tech news as a hobby, and am an android fan (my wife loves android too but she is stuck with a work-issued iphone, which is is not too fond of). I own a 3 year old android 2.2.1 phone and have never owned a tablet (although I do enter the contests hoping to win one :D ) I am not complaining though, as I could afford a tablet and new phone if I really wanted to. Rather, I am quite thankful. I am thankful for the opportunity to provide all of my time, love, effort and money into the many foster, orphan, and homeless children who come to my home to live and learn what normalcy is, what real love is, what it means to be safe. I am thankful for the massive life-changes, social, and academic improvements these children make as they finally learn that they are worthwhile, they learn enormous potential is within themselves, they learn boundaries, they can love without the hurt. I am thankful for the tears shed when they are packing to leave here as they are finally able to shed tears showing a human side, showing some vulnerability, being able to think clearly and not live in fear. These are tears of mixed emotions, they are going to miss us, while they are excited to unite with their “forever families”. These are things I am most thankful for.

BUT I am also greatly thankful for this site, this little hobby of mine, reading AA’s latest and greatest articles. Just a way for me to unwind, keep my sanity, and to just relax after a typical 16 hour day, after all the kids are in bed and asleep. As one who loves America, supporting American companies, and Android in particular I am thankful for this one-stop-shop of up-to-date Android news.
