Halfbrick Studios Releases Free Version of Fruit Ninja
Android gamers with cravings for slash-and-slice carnage can now give in to those cravings without hurting virtual humans, animals, or animal-like creatures and without paying a single cent. Popular game developer Halfbrick Studios just announced yesterday the availability of a free version of Fruit Ninja, a fruit-slashing and fruit-smashing game that has become a worldwide hit.
Halfbrick Studios has made Fruit Ninja available to Android users since February this year, but it has always been a paid app until this free version came along. And, knowing how many thousands of Android users are suckers for free apps, Fruit Ninja Free will definitely increase the tribe of fruit-slashing addicts hooked to the game.
Players can enjoy three game modes in Fruit Ninja: Classic, Zen, and the (newly introduced) Arcade modes. The app also posts players’ scores on leaderboards via Openfeint.
Fruit Ninja Free is ad-supported, although the ads are not obtrusive at all, since the ads only show in between rounds.
Have you tried this game? If not, download and install Fruit Ninja Free from the Android Market.
