Google I/O 2016 is now in full swing and considering the developer-centric nature of the conference, it’s no surprise that a number of new developer tools have been officially unveiled today. One of these tools is the new Playbook by Google Play app.

What’s Playbook? In a nutshell, it’s basically an app that makes it easy to find tips, how to articles, videos, and other resources that will help you in your quest to make that perfect app. Basically it’s the same kind of stuff Google has always offered through developer blogs and other resources online, just this time Google has gathered it all under one roof to make newer developers’ lives easier.

The only catch is that Playbook is still in beta at the moment. That means you’ll need to join the beta program first before you can install it. After installation, it’ll ask you to choose the areas that interest you in order for the app to best cater to your individual needs.

Anyone give it a try yet? If so, what did you think of the new app? Recommend it or not?
