Google has musical gifts for US residents in the form of a couple of free albums, 20 free songs, and price cuts on more than three dozen albums.

The free albums you can download right now from Play Music are Kanye West’s controversial Yeezus and Chvrches’ The Bones of What You Believe. The two albums headline Google’s Play Picks 2013 free and discounted music promo, available for a limited time to residents of the United States. Google proclaimed Yeezus the Album of the Year, while Chvrches is Google’s Breakout Artist of the Year.

Among the two score free songs in the collection are songs from Drake,  Arcade Fire, Lana del Rey, and more. Google’s also offering 42 albums at reduced prices, ranging from $3.99 to $5.99, covering a variety of genres. These include Lorde’s Pure Heroine, Drake’s Nothing Was The Same, Lady Gaga’s Artpop, and Pearl Jam’s  Lightning Bolt.

Head over to the Play Picks collection on the Play Store to see if anything suits your taste.

Yeezus should’ve been free to begin with. It’s like having your ears ripped off and stomped on but still somehow able to hear out of them. So you can hear every stomp.

Thank you. Love the title ‘(US ONLY)’. Saved every international reader a bunch of time. Other Android sites could learn a thing or too from AA.
